The Institute Building is a beautiful Thai-style house located on the Sathya Sai School premises on the banks to the Pasak Reservoir. It is approximately one kilometer from the school building. It is a pleasant walk but those who find it a little long may use the Institute van.
All diploma students will be given accommodation at the Institute Building. Each bedroom has a built-in bathroom and has the capacity for three or four people. Every student is provided with a writing desk, reading lamp and clothes cupboard. Adequate bed and blankets are available and each room has fans.
Kitchen
The Institute has a kitchen, which is fully equipped so that the students may make hot and cold beverages and also prepare simple meals if necessary. (However, most meals will be partaken in the School Canteen with the children.
Lecture Hall
The lecture hall, that can also be used by the students for daily prayers, is located on the ground floor of the Institute building. It is not air-conditioned but has a good breeze blowing through as it opens up over the reservoir.
Conference Room
There is an air-conditioned conference room in the school building where the diploma students may study and plan lessons. It is well equipped with two computers, adequate desk space and a comprehensive library. The school has a photocopying machine which can be used, but for bulk copying, it is cheaper to use the facilities in the village.
Meals
The students take their meals in the school canteen. Thai vegetarian food is provided three times a day plus two breaks, one in the morning and the other in mid-afternoon.
Other Facilities
Telephone
The school does not as yet have main telephone facilities, therefore, the Institute provides a mobile phone for the convenience of the students. Each person is responsible for paying for his or her own calls.
Laundry
A laundry service is provided at the school which is covered by the board and lodging fee.
Institute Car
The Institute provides a van for the use of all students.
