"It is enough if a teacher trains only ten students. Sai wants quality and not quantity. You should make an effort to experience first, and then practise and teach...It is therefore important that you show your love to the students in an abundant manner in the same way you love your own children."
Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Diploma students are expected to join in with all the school activities such as Morning Prayer sessions held daily at the hostel and are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities such as clubs and sports. Any student who has a special talent in music, art, drama, dance or language is free to start his or her own club on Monday mornings.

Additional Information

  • Clothing- Thailand is a hot country so students should bring lightweight clothing. Only during the months of December and January does the weather get a little cooler so a jacket or sweater may be necessary. Students are advised that they bring suitable clothes to wear in the classroom, ie. long skirts (or national dress) for women and trousers and shirts for men. More casual wear is fine for the weekends.
  • Samples of teaching materials - Apart from attending lectures, students maybe teaching or assisting in EHV and English classes at school, so bring any material, which might be useful.
  • Presentation Material - Students are encouraged to bring some simple but interesting material about their country to make a small presentation to the children. As the presentation maybe shown to the whole school, it is better to bring slides rather than videos, and music and National Dress for a National Folk Dance, if it is appropriate.
